I brought the lawnmower and the trimmer out today to take care of my front lawn.
The edge trimmer threw a rod (through the crankcase) and the mower died and won't restart.
Going to stay away from the boat, car and wife, I can't do without them :P
As you probably surmised from my other posts I am not too clever
I have read about deadrise , but I am not sure what the differences are other then a flat bottom boat
How do you measure it, can anyone figure what mine is
I am totally insane for wanting to tow an 8,000 pound boat with my 2,000 pound Jeep
Thank you for the comments :)
Please see my post #59 if you want to know what went on

I have a 96 Johnson 88 SPL it has a COMPROP 4x13.5x15 P/N O4345
The prop is one of their first composites - so is about 10 years old, I would like to get an aluminum prop (heh as a spare?)
I really know nothing about how the prop effects the boat performance :(
An owners manual is the first thing on my list after I can afford it
If I need to replace the impeller on my 96 88 SPL I will have to drop the lower drive (I think) I see five bolts, is there another one some place I should know about?
In about 2 weeks I will be able to afford the gas to start...
I need to rewire the bow light. I had anticipated that I could tiee a line to the old wires and pull the new wires through, however, the reason the bow lghts don't work is that the wires are missing
Any suggestion on getting the wires to the bow?
This appears to be added on later, I did fine a section in the console.
It loos like a cut and fit cabinet slide, as you can see there is the upper and lower strips and 4 corners that just slip together
I would like to replace this with something similar
The boat came with a Batstat 300 it looks like it is operational
Does anyone have a manual or wiring diagram for this?
there is 2 wires, green and white that comes from the meter, does anyone have an idea what they do? Alarm maybe?
Thanks
Two very nice pedestals and seats came with my boat, the PO bought them but never installed them, they are similar to the one in the picture
After looking at my deck (where I want to install them is a Large fuel tank) and don't think I want to bolt them to the deck.
What I would like to do is...
