I have an Evinrude model BE7RSA which is a 1989 made for (or in?) Belgium. It is a commercial 6.5 hp. Some of the parts on it have #'s that match the 5.6 hp US model and some of them match the 8 hp model. What I need to know, is what is the equivalent US model so I can get the proper replacement...
I have a 1989 Johnson J6RCEC 5.6 hp that I just bought and had shipped to me and it arrived with the motor cover split with a lot of cracks and one big chunk knocked out. This cover is plastic and so far I have been unable to identify what kind of plastic it is.
I'm sure I can repair it...
I just purchased this '64 9.5 and noticed that the mixture control knob on the front panel just extends inside the cowling a couple of inches and is connected to nothing What am I missing? Does anyone have a parts diagram showing these parts?
