Anyone here use seacast, and maybe give some pro's cons if you had a ply transom before.
apparently you can easily make a fiberglass shell and pour soem stringers in.......wouldnt this pretty much make a rot proof transon/stringer system?
and on top of it its supposidly floats.
Well I got my transom wood all cut out today....That 4 1/2 grinder with cutoff wheel was invaluable!!! it cut through like butter! But theres a possible serious hull glass issue and i need some expert advice!

Got my splash well cut out with a sawzall the other day and now i'm going to cut away the remaining fiberglass on the transon and about 12"'s of the already rotted stringers and then sand down evenly the inside of the outter skin.

Well I stared dismantling everything on my 77 columbian for the rebuild...what a PITA it is to remove hundreds of screws!!! had to drill alot out cuz they were stuck!!! but after remiving a bunch of stuff on the transom i noticed the ply wood was rotted! well the transom is 1/8" fiber 1/8

Well after spending 4 days taking the power head off and tearing it apart in my basement..i was horrified by what I saw!! As some of you know my buddy gave me a boat and blown engine for free...after taking off the head it looked like it just chewed up some rings...well i just finished tearing...

Well my buddy at work gave me his boat because one of the piston on the outboard crapped the bed...rather than fix it he bought another boat.The boat itslef is in great shape for its age!! Just looking for any information I could get on it....When i try to google it it comes up with sailboats...
