    Pflueger trolling motor

    My brother in law aquired a free trolling motor. It is a Pflueger model M-30 SN number 16546DG does anyone have any info about this motor as to the thrust and age. It works great and is in nice shape. It is a really cool little motor.<br />thanks

    leaking fuel lines

    I have a 1986 Merc 35 hp and the fuel lines are leaking where they connect to the metal fittings. The clamps are nylon lock ties. Should I replace these nylon clamps with automotive gear style metal clamps? The hoses look ok should I replace them anyway as long as I am replacing the clamps?<br...

    twist throttle rattle

    electric start

    I just purchased a 1986 Mercury 35 hp long shaft outboard with pull start. Can electric start be added to this engine? If so what parts are involved and any idea on cost. With the engine housing off there looks to be a spot where a starter motor would sit.<br />thanks

    raise transom

    Does anyone have any info on raising a transom. I have a 15 foot lund v bottom set up for a short shaft motor.However I had a very nice long shaft fall into my lap that I would like to use on this boat. Max hp is 40 the motor I have is 35.<br />thanks for any info
