    nmea issue humminbird 385ci and uniden um415 radio

    got new dsc radio, has a simple two wire hook up to gps receiver, nmea(+) and ground, I have the nmea output turned on, on the fishfinder/gps, but am getting no data on my radio. I have double checked the connections, no problem there, any ideas?

    placement of oil pump pulse hose?

    i have a 1996 johnson ocean runner 150hp., there's a short hose that comes off a tee from the oil pump, it's about 3 inches long, when the motor is running it pumps pulses of air. should this be connected somewhere? it doesn't seem long enough to reach anywhere. tx

    thinking of repowering my 19ft grady white with the johnson 150hp ocean runner 1996, is anyone aware of any problems with these motors, also is this enough power? currently has a 175hp motor, and is rated for 200hp.
