Please help... I have a 85' Evinrude 150 with a older teleflex sh5098 rack and pinion dual cable steering system on a 85' Winner Bass boat. Here's the problem... It will turn great to the left(about 3 turns) but when I go to crank it to the right the steering wheel goes about a half turn or so...

I recently took my 84 evinrude 9.9 and cleaned the carb jets. After reassembly I ran it in my local lake amd the power felt good, like the cleaning worked, but all of a sudden the rpm's jumped up like it was out of gear, but after getting off the gas and re-appyling power it ran good until full...

Help... My 84 9.9 had a carb job about a year and a half ago, ran great... I ran the gas out of the carb and it sat in the garage over the winter... When I went to run it last week it spit and spuddered for a while and finally would run. At full throttle it revs up and down on its own and bogs...
