I have a 1970 Chrysler 55 hp outboard and have been having issues with engine.
I bought this boat a couple of years ago and right off the bat I had to have the impeller changed.
I used it twice after it was changed. The next year I went to use it and it would not circulate water again.
Any ideas...
I have a 1968 CLIPPER Runabout 16'.
I has a POS chrysler55 outboard on it. Im looking to change it out but Iam wondering if anybody knows if it the boat will take a 100hp Johnson. Im told the Johnson weighs 275lb. Not sure if this boat can handle it.

Looking to replace my bucket seats with a set of bolster seats.
Does anybody know where to buy drop down bolster seats besides twinmarine?
Has anyone made there own bolster seats with stands and would like to share some info.

Got an ancient chrysler 55 outboard.
Motor would turn over but not start. I changed all the gas and pulled apart the carb. Cleaned it out with carb cleaner and compressed air.
Put it all back together and the motor starts and will run but you have to crack the throttle a bit but it will not...
I just picked up a 211 Liberator for parts.
Its a heap but the winshield is good and my Liberator doesn't have the factory windshield on it.
Does anybody know how to remove and replace it?
Not sure if it attaches from underneath or from the top side.
I have an 86 liberator. Everything worked last season great. Just de winterized boat yesterday and noticed that the outdrive will go down but will not go up. But when I push the trailer switch it raises the outdrive all the way. Any suggestions on what too do.

This spring I'm going to do a tune up on it. I was wondering what kind of spark plugs I should go with? Can I just buy cap / rotor / wires / plugs form summit or jegs ? or do I have to buy speacial marine parts?
Im in the process of redoing the teak on my boat. The previous owner used Sikkens sealer. It looks ok but its to dark.. I've heard good reviews on "teak-gaurd"

I'm in need of a good resolution picture of a 1988-1989 211 liberator side decal. I'm redoing my liberator but the guy i bought it from had these stupid looking decals on it. So i removed them thinking i could find o.e. Ones but no luck. My sign shop needs a good straight on picture .
