    I've read the posts on engines stalling when shifting and have read about replacing bulb, rebuilding pumps and carbs. Whats the reason(s) for the stall. My motor runs fine at higher speeds. Thanks Bill Mc

    Water and oil separation

    I was always told that water in the lower unit will separate from the oil. On another forum one poster stated that lower end oil is formulated to obsorb water - 25%. Is this true? Thanks Bill Mc

    Sound proofing

    We pulled the cover on my 1990 150HP Force this past weekend and noticed glue marks that probably held some sort of sound proofing material. Did these motors have such materials? How much does it cut the engine noise? Would it be worth it to replace it and if so with what? Bill Mc

    I'm planning on buying one of these FF/GPS units. My question is is there a program like a blue chart that will give more detail of the Canadian shoreline of the western basin of Lake Erie. The chart that comes standard with either unit does not offer much detail of this area. thanks Bill Mc
