just had my impeller changed a couple weeks ago, (2006 Merc 115 4 stroke) and now its making a rather loud noise in neutral after warm up. motor was always very quiet. took it back and the mechanic dropped the lower unit and everything looked good. It's quiet when you first start it up, but...
just curious if there are any tricks to get the bottom half off for a impeller replacement. The motor has about 300 hrs. on it and the bottom has never been apart. thanks in advance
Hi, it's time to replace my impellar. 2006 Merc 115hp 4 stroke. how hard is it? are there any wires to disconnect when removing the lower unit? would rather do it myself and not take it to the shop. thanks in advance
