    25hp Merc Dies when put in gear

    Hi Guys, I have a mid 1990's model 25hp Mercury pull start. Problem is when motor is hot it idols and starts fine but when I put it in gear it dies.     Leaving outboard sitting

    Hi guy's my job requires me to go away for 6-8 weeks at a time and my 25hp 2 stroke pull start Mercury dosn't get used for this time. What should I do to prepare my motor for this lenght of time sitting idle besides flush with fresh water and run fuel out of the carbie.<br />Thanks
