Needed to replace my original belts this year. Bought OEM and was surprised on delivery that one was NOS, 1984 on the label. It's new, but probably a little stale. Might be an exception to the OEM rubber preference.
I didn't trust the bow eye when I did mine. I used big screw jacks in the back and a 4" strap about at the windshield like a marina sling, worked great.
Not saying it will be a problem but I'd be a little bit concerned the new temp sender is on a dead end leg a ways out from the coolant flow. Be aware of the possibility of offset and/or lag.
If you remove the snap ring the piston should come right out and allow you to mess with the zerk fitting. I can't remember how the zerk was attached to the piston though.
Can anyone help me with Fel Pro one piece rubber gasket part numbers? My Googling isn't leading me to confidence in ordering...
