    1966 Evinrude Charging System

    I am not charging anymore in my 66 40 HP Lark. I tested the generator and it passed. I am assuming that it is my regulator. How can I test and can I use an old 60's style regulator for a car. I have had no luck finding a new voltage regulator. Thanks Carl

    What should my compression test readings be on a 1966 Evinrude Lark 40 HP Motor? I got 95 psi in both cylinders? Is that good? Thanks Carl

    1966 Evinrude Tachometer HELP

    I have a 1966 Evinrude Motor #40673B. I need a tachometer for it, I got a 12 pole Teleflex tachomter and it did not work. I have AC volts coming out of the generator and the generator shows dc amps on the ampmeter. Is this the right Tach? I hooked the sender wire to both of the out generator...
