After a day of fishing the motor died and after 20 min it started back up and ran fine so when I got home I started checking everything the compression is between 105-110 on all cylinders got fuel so when I checked the timing I noticed that it is way off and that spark is not jumping 7/16 gap on...
Can a low float height cause starting and idling issues when I took the carbs apart I noticed one float is lower than the other in the bowl the motor sounds like is backfiring from running too lean I have good strong spark it jumps 7/16 Good compression but it just does not want to run any help...
It feels like it never ends with this motor just changed the Whole water pump started the motor and let it run and I got no water coming out of tell tale I got 5 lbs of water pressure at idle and i noticed alot of water coming out of echaust relief I don't know if this is normal I never noticed...
how can this stator get this bad with no rust on the flywheel or any other part of the engine and would this cause hard to start condition it runs fine over certain rpm and it was not charging the battery
I need help with the new cdi stator it has one extra wire and i don't know where it needs to go my old stator has only 6 wires and the new one has a extra black wire any help would be appreciated
