    ok i had issues with the engine going dead after running awhile, i have rebuilt the carbs and the fuel pump. at WOT it will run fine for a few minutes then try to die, i pump the throttle to keep it from dying and it will keep running. before i rebuilt the fuel pump it would just die, pumping...

    where do i find the numbers to know what type carbs i have on my 115 merc? just bought boat trie to start it and fuel is leaking from carbs, getting fire to plugs so i figure it is in need of carbs rebuilt, thanks for any input.

    1980 115 mercury power trim problem

    i am having problem with the trim. the motor goes up so far and then stops. when going down , the pump motor runs til i take hand off button. the unit was low on fluid i filled it up[before it wuldnt go up] and now i got it to go up but it doesnt go up all the way.
