I have recently replaced many lower unit seals on this Engine and during the process I noticed that the PO had buggered the rubber grommet that connects the lower unit water supply to the down tube to the engine. I put it back the way it was knowing that I should keep a very close eye on this...

Do I understand correctly that the power head can be left on and that outside bolts and then the lower bolt in the side access (shifting linkage I think).
