on the water over around half throttle my 115hp straight 6 mercury bogs down she runs perfect up till then
starts great and don't miss a beat iv checked fuel pips air vent on tanks cleaned the carbs iv tried pumping the primer pump while running and no different iv had it in the shop and they...

hi i have a 115hp mercury....(1986) there is a 90hp mercury ( same age ) for sale with a idle problem....... my question is are the parts the same. thinking of buying for spear parts . mine is a straight 6 and the 90hp is a straight 4 ??? :confused:
hi i have a 6m boat.. a 115hp murcury ( 1986 ) i am putting the fuel tank up in the bow...the fuel line will be around 5m long 1... will i be able to prime the motor with the normal inline bulb? 2 ...will the fuel pump cope over that distance ( 10mm bore ) also the tank i am fitting is 53L...
anybody know what the make and type my fishing boat is. i have owned it now for 2 years. its a great sea boat. very stable . it has a 115hp mercury that put her up to around 30mph , the only info i have was off the guy who i got it off and he said that the thames river police used the same type...
what would be the best dia pipe for a 115hp mercury with the fuel tank in the bow ? and the length would be around the 5 m . and would the fuel pump cope with this set up ? any comments or thoughs on this will be greatfully recieved ....thanks :confused:
any one know the best way to fix down the bow rail i have just had made. the problem is that i can not get to the inside to bolt it on, the boat is fiberglass ? i have seen some rubber plugs whitch hold on the control box for the same problem.....any body know what they are called and where to...

hi i have a quick silver remote control,, the problem is that i can not get it onto throttle only...the button that you press just won;t push in ...i have had it move once or twice but never when i need it...is it just a case of loads of lube ????? if so what kind ...or is it a strip down and...
has any body got the best way to anchor up safely ( on the irish sea ) from a small boat (18ft ) with out going out onto the bow, i have tried many ways. some are better than others, i am just hoping that over there in the US that there may be some way i have not thought of !
