Have 140.h.p. johnson outboard motor about 20 years old,but still runs,but when you first start it it boggs down wont full throttle for about 30 min.or so then finally kicks in then runs good at full throttle??? APPRECIATE ANY HELP THANKS MARVIN.
Hi Corm.here is some info.on my pontoon boat it is a 18ft.pontoons are 18" dia.have three bench pontoon type seats and usually about six people go with me when i go out engine is '83 model 35 hp. Also do you think one of those fins you bolt on the motor would make it plane out better? Thanks Marvin.

I have a 83 model 35 hp mercury outbd motor,and i am having trouble with the charging system it dont seem to be charging my battery.Any suggestions would be appreciated.I already replaced the rectifier.Thanks Marvin.
