I had to replace my impeller but before I took the bottom off I forgot to put it in drive.
So now from what I understand. I push the lever all the way forward on the control?
Then I turn the actual drive cw until it locks the propeller at which point it can not spin...

trying to figure out how to adjust my floats on my carbs.....I believe this may be why my boat will run in throttle only
.690 / .665 is what it says in the instructions not sure how to use this.

so an update
My motor wouldnt stay running on idle. So I cleaned the carbs to potentially fix the problem.
In the process I must have disrupted something else. Or it just happened at the same.
Anyways my motor wouldnt start up and run after that. (Fly wheel would turn...it would sound likes...

Trying to get my boat running
It wont spark and turn over
I have compression....all 4 spark plugs working....fuel....
But I have noticed that throttle lever and the spark advance lever do not move at all when I try to start
the carbs dont move open or closed...

I had it running this summer on the water. It ran great.
It would shutdown in idle tho so I attempted to fix it. The motor would only run when I had it going forward out of idle.
I cleaned the carbs and set the idle speed.
