I can't get to the motor and don't know what the shaft length is.
Does anyone know the lengts available for that year?

I have an electric start model but never use the feature as I am a sailor with a small dinghy and find it not necessary.
I just rebuilt my 1994 right down to the paint.
She looks sweet and is ready for another couple years.
Can I remove the starter to "lighten up my load" without and...
I have my motor tore apart and have sanded all the blistering paint.
Much bare metal has been exposed.
Do I prime lower unit, exhaust, mid section etc or just use OEM paint?

I just rebuilt my carb and fuel pump with sierra kits.
Everything worked great but I have a horrible time getting on plane, the rpm's for the first half of throttle accelerate slowly, once on plane it runs great.
I didn't adjust any screws when rebuilding, I just put them back the same...
I recently purchased the motor and have it out of the water for my recently purchased fuel pump and carb kits from iboats.
I just tested both cylinders at exactly 110psi.
Is my psi allright?
