So I am going to attempt to make a homeade surfgate this week and run some testing with it on Saturday, since it will be warm. The main goal I am looking for is to make the wave a little longer. I read throught the entire wakeworld post and this seems to be a somewhat easy way to extent how...
I was just going to email a moderator but though I could post to see how many people were into wakesurfing. I would love to see a wakesurfing section on here and am willing to bet it would be used quite often.
Whatcha think mods?
Thanks!
Ps. If this had been brought up before, I apologize.
I think I have my wife talked into going down to the lake, Pueblo Reservoir, this Sat, maybe we can get in a surf or wakeboard set or two. All I had to do was watch enough YouTube videos of pets having fun to **** her off. Haha!! Anybody else going out this Saturday?
Since there is so wakesufing section here, I thought I would post it in here and see if anyone have any advice or suggestion of my "wave?" The boat is a 2001 aztek sunstar with about 600 lbs in the front, 750 next to the motor (its a direct drive) and another 375 or so on the backseat. Any...
Kind of a weird question. My new (to me), 2001 Aztek sunstar has NO cleats. I keep my boat in a wet slip throughout the summer and obviously need a way to tie it up. Adding cleats seems like its not too hard of a task, biggest point seems to be the backing on the inside of the boat, but my...
I see the youtube videos, but just wondering if anyone here knows of or has surfed with an aztek sunstar. 21' dd boat. Just kind of wondering how much weight and where they had it before i spend some money on fat sacs. Thanks!!

Hey guys and gals,
I have a couple of question with some boats I am looking at and am hoping to get some valuable feedback from you guys. A little background, I sold my 1987 bayliner 2150 and the end of the last boating season in hopes of find a direct drive or vdrive boat this winter. Myself...
Was looking at this boat and wanted to get the forums "professional," opinion on it. Besides the obvious stuff that I can see when I am looking at it. Any good or bad things about this specific model that anyone knows of? Thanks.

Hey guys and gals,
I just sold my bayliner and am going to be upgrading this winter. I am looking a lot at early 2000's Tige and some older (92 and newer Supras). The goal is to get an inboard boat to surf with. A couple of questions i had, I tried to search but not much luck of definitive...
Hey guys and gals. I looked in the search but didn't find a whole lot of answers to the question I had. My family and I have really gotten into wake boarding. I have 3 kids, 4, 7, and 10 years old. We LOVEEE the water. Wakesurfing is just calling our name, but since we have an I/O that...
Well I put my boat in its slip on Thuraday. Came back on Friday and there was a very small amount of water in the bottom of my boat right under my bilge pump. No rain, nobody was in the water, so it didnt come from there Should I be worried about it? Its an '87 Bayliner 2150 I/O.
well,i have may slip all payed for but am unsure about getting my boat in the water because of the nightly low temps. The highs are around 60? or so during the day but getting into the high 20's or low 30's at night. Should I just wait a couple more weeks or will I be safe from the dreaded...
anybody towing their boat with a class c motorhome? i am looking for a class c and would probably be towing my bayliner 2150 at least a few times a year. just wodering if its feasible and how these motorhomes are while towing this amount of weight.
thanks,
jason
I have an '87 2150 ciera. When I was winterizing it (just bought it btw), I noticed there was only 1 battery. Now maybe I am stupid, but shouldn't you have at least a couple of batteries on a boat, maybe one for backup for starting and running the accessories off of. Thanks for your opinions.
