Anyone know where I can find a new cowl seal for my 1990 Johnson 30? (J30TELESS). The ones from the official websites sit at about 100$ and I’d rather not spend that much on an OEM one. I found a few on EBay that I’m not sure would fit. Any advice is appreciated.
Does anyone know how I could fix this flaking at the bottom of my cowl? The old staples ripped some of the glass strands out… I plan on painting the cowling so I do not want to just cover up the impurities with the new seal..want to do it right
Have a 1990 johnson 30 tiller model that will not turn over. I have replaced the solenoid and tested the starter and they both look fine. If anyone had a wiring diagram possible that could help me out that’d be great. Thanks
I had no clue. I was not planning on buying an axle but seeing this makes me wonder if just buying an axle ready to go with leaf springs, hubs, etc would make things a lot easier on me

I have a 1990 30 horse Johnson. Upon taking off the driveshaft spacer in the lower unit, my kit only came with one O ring while I need 2 (one for each end) Gonna head to the store soon and compare but figured I’d ask if Anyone know what specific size these O rings are?
