how do i fine tune the engine? it runs fine and smooth at idle but when you rev it up from 3500 rpm onwards it has a miss going on! have only run engine out of water will this make a diffrence? the lync and sync in my service manual is pretty vague. thanks.
i have removed flywheel and found the key sheared, kinda good news cos i had no idea what else could be wrong. any way, are the keys hard to find? and what is the procedure for re-install as my service manual says nothing!! thanks.
when i flick switch to up position the solinoid clicks but no motor pumping. nor does down work but i no this model doesnt need solinoid to operate! thanks to the might joe reevs! any common problems i can look at to get it pumping again?
It just wont start now. all it does is turn over. not even try to start. maybe its the fuel pump damaged?? have read in manual that back fires can damage the diaphrams inside the pump. when i spray fuel into the carbs from the front past the choke plates, turn it on, (choke plates close) turn...

hey there! trying to start my engine this after noon, not sure when last serviced as have just brought engine second hand! it turns over fast and wants to go but wont pick up revs. all cylinders have 110 psi compression. and pretty good spark at plugs, not bright big and blue but blue! any ideas...
