I took the boat in to the mechanic this week. He cleaned and adjusted the carbs, installed a fuel/water separator, fixed various gauges and some other minor things. He did test run it in the river before I picked it up.

I've had some success with black bass along the banks using various worms with a carolina rig. Tempted to try a Senko, but I read that they don't work as well weighted. Gotta have weight in that river current.

I just bought a new boat and have taken it out a few times. It trailers fine, but I noticed my truck's bumper bent down slightly so I unhooked the trailer and realized that there is WAY too much tongue weight.
