It appears to be ok, I also removed the connector with the signal wire to the module and still the same behaviour. Unless it works in a different way to what I am thinking...
Have you checked the float level in the carb. With the engine turned off, if you apply the throttle you should see 2 distinct jets of fuel squirt into the 2 carb bores
Thanks for the reply, it has no identifying marks. It was less than half the price of a genuine "GM" version.
Will also add, when running, the idle and pickup is really nice, no stuttering just a little flat due to ignition curve
