I am looking at an 02 voyager tritoon. It has lifting strakes, but only has a 90 horse 2-stroke Merc. Does anyone have an idea how this boat would perform? I am wondering about getting on plane and top speed. If anyone has a boat like this or experience with one I would appreciate it.
and boy was I disappointed. It was an 06 Smoker-Craft 8524 4.0 with a 115 Merc Opti. I'm not sure what pitch the prop was, didn't have any way to get a look at it. The most I could get out of at WOT was 5100 RPM's and a whopping 20.6 MPH via the garmin. The guy told me it had strakes but...

I found this boat on CL. It is the type of boat I'm interested. When I tried to look up some info on the googlenet, there wasn't anything to be found. It's a deep-v, aluminum hull ranger. Do any of you guys have any info on this particular model boat?
