Hello I have a1990 Cruisers INC with dual 5.7L Mercruisers. Port side done. Starbord side giving me trouble. Starts with startng fluid. If I pour some gas in carb it runs untill gas runs out then stalls. Then just turns over, assuming its not getting fuel. Changed filter, nothing suspicious...

At first when i left the dock the transmission seeme to slip. I mean I would be cruising and the rpms would suddenly rise and the boat would slow. This happened like 3 times for about 2 seconds then it was fine. Later in the day it woulndt engage into forward gear. Reverse was easy...it clicked...
Ok heres teh deal.....I had to replace the head on my 3.0. I doing so The wires were going around the head the wrong way so the thermostat wires wouldnt reach. So I had to disconnect the wires to the alternator....oops by me....i didnt disconnect teh battery. The wrench hit two prongs and...
