I have a 88 172 sportcraft fisherman. my question is will the floor somehow be adhered to the stringers. i can stick my hand in the access ports and it feels like there is some glass or maybe a thick coat of resin going from the upper shell to the hull down towards the floor. will that just pull...
i was wondering if any one has seperated the 2 halfs on a 88 172 fisherman center console. ive already taking rubrail and screw out and seperated the 2. when i lift up on the bow doesnt seem like she wants to go. is the floor somehow adhered to the stringers and if so were do i go from there.

hopefully these pics will help. the midsection of this setup is different than a standard motor i can't hang it off the transom. as far as rub rail, from there up unscrews and the top of boat and floor seperate from hull its like 18" thick on top of the stern.

this is all i have right now. i will have to jack trailer up to get motor down will dig in ground even with tongue all the way down.
i have a 87' 172 sportcraft fisherman deep v with 1.6l seadrive with a ss 17p prop have also tried the 15p alum that came on it. my problem is when trimmed all the way in on take off the motor doesnt turn up almost like a stall, but if trim motor up a foot or so and then trim back down boat...

when installing motor on armstrong bracket do u raise the motor as it goes away from transom or leave ventilation plate even with bottom of boat, and is the motor set when trimmed all the way down parellel with transom angle or perpendicular with ground.
