    What would the weight differance in a early 80's 150 Blackmax and a mid 1990's 150 hp engine. I know the horse power is up and my boat can handle the extra power. Just curious if newer engines are significantly lighter. If there is a site that might have this info that would be very helpful...

    prop /gearcase question

    I am looking at a prop for sale .. it says its 15 spline that is correct for my 1984 V 6 150 hp engine .. but it says its a small gearcase then it says V4 or XR4 Would this fit ??? Ideas ??

    Alum Verses SS

    Ok I am looking for more bow lift. I have a 21 pitch Stainless prop on the boat now .. It is 3 blade. If I put on a 4 blade Alum propeller will I gain any lift ?? not changing pitch boat runs 5500 RPM at 55 MPH. I just would like opinions on the 3 blade SS as apposed to 4 blade alum...

    Any one tried Dale Whitemans "clear coat metal flake" proceedure

    I am working on the transom I cleaned up all the holes , filled the top of the transom where I was forced to cut it away for removal. I tried teh proceedure outlined but not having any luck getting flakes thru the gun.

    Help ! how do I get rid of 100% silicon caulk !?

    Ok I am gettin closr to putting the two halves back together, the silicon caulking came off the outer hull fine (smooth and shiny) but man is it stuck to the underside. Its gotta come off to get a good seal silicone does not stick to its self. !!! Ideas !!?? Thanks !
