1989 125 hp Force Outboard. What would (most likely) cause the #1 and #3 cylinders to fire weak or not fire at all. I've seen this asked several times while searching the different forums, but I haven't been able to determine exactly what causes the problem or in my case solve it so far and my...
1989 125 Force Spark Problem!
Cylinders 1 and 3 have a constant but weak spark and the motor is misfiring on those cylinders.
Cylinders 2 and 4 have a constant strong spark at all times.
I changed out the stator with a new one when I first got the boat a few summers ago and that didn't help...
I'm useing "polyester resin" to do the fiberglass work on the gunwales of my boat and have run out of time for finishing the glass work by the 4th due to work and other things.
Is there a "temporary coating" that I can put on the gunwales over the poly that will help protect the family and...
I can buy a Chrysler boat with a 105h.p. Chrysler Outboard and trailer, it appears clean and complete, I don't know the year or much else about it but I do like the lines, has that humped contour along the top and short rounded windsheild and says CHRYSLER on the side of the boat, says something...
A flexable tool used in boat building maybe four feet in length or longer used for transfering shapes to be cut in plywood or lumber? Serves the same purpose as a wooden batten but after contoured it will hold it's shape for transfer to lumber. Thanks!

I ran my 1989 125 Force Outboard on muffs in the yard for the first time since replacing and rebuilding both carbs.
When I ran the motor with the hood off I noticed a "faint ticking" that I didn't recall hearing before, sounds like it may be in the flywheel area of the motor behind the top...

How are the triggers made up on Force outboard motors?
Is there any oil sealed inside or is it wiring only or both?
If there is oil inside and it were to leak out would it cause a no fire situation of the cylinder's, anyone know? Thank's!

This is a boat that started out as a 20 foot cuddy cabin that had set for about 12 years, the deck had rotted but the stringers and transom seemed to be in good condition.
I first converted the cuddy to a bowrider and after a couple years I decided to convert the boat to a center console!

Can't find the (fuel recirculation gaskets) for my 89 125hp Force outboard. Have searched and thought I found them and in both cases the companies couldn't get them, have searched everywhere I can think of, anyone have an idea where I might locate them?
Thank's in advance for your help!

What's the best way to remove a stuck gasket on a Force outboard motor?
Removed the fuel recirculation system covers on my 125 Force to clean the screens and a partial layer of the bottom gasket stuck to the engine surface. The top came off clean, the one easy to get to.
The aluminum is soft and...
