I just installed a new actuator in my 258v. Works great. Obviously the old one failed and the previous owner never replaced it. I found one that met the specs i needed and installed.
what does a guy do if this thing fails closed in the future? I really dont know how you would get the engine...

2 brown/yellow wires were connected to the float switch which i assumed went to a sound alarm which i now realize is the gasoline vapor sensor..
looking at the wiring diagram it says these wires are indeed for the "high level switch" now they connect directly to the "firstmate...
