    larger outboard

    I have a 12' aluminum duranautic, the transom specifically says maximum of 10 HP. I currently have a 9.5 Johnson on it but it doesn't push the way I want it to, it runs flawlessly so that is not an issue at all. What I'm wondering is, would it be extremely dumb to put a 15hp on it?
