Hi all, I have worked on boats for years and this year I had at least 3 boats that I tried to winterize the outdrive, and the oil drain screw has been stuck. I have tried all diffrent size screwdrivers but they just strip it. Does anyone have any tips on removing these?

I have a 100 hp 1995 Johnson and I am replacing the impeller. I remove all bolts on the drive, but when i pull it down it gets hung up about an inch down, obviously the shift linkage. I was wondering how you disengage the linkage to drop the drive down the rest of the way.
