    One of my friends has axles without springs. I was wondering if its legal to pull a Trailer without Springs? I leave Boat at Cottage all Summer so its only for a 20mile Trip.

    Live Well Draining

    Was wondering... I have a Jon boat with a Livewell in middle Seat. If I fill it up will it drain while Crusing or need to be on a Trailer? I don't have a trailer for it I just leave it at Cabin.

    2x10 Instead of 2- 3/4 Ply wood

    I'm making a jack-plate out of 4 aluminum angles and was wondering if 2x10 pinewood would be strong enough for a 20hp. Or I have to buy Plywood?

    Boat rivets

    I need rivets that you hammer in but not sure what there called :( I placed boat rivets on ebay and found nothing. looks like a nail head you hold with a big hammer and tap/bend other end.

    Transom drain plugged

    Just bought a 16' Jon Boat from a company restocking in new. 400$ each and 5 to pick from... I was first there :) Noticed today they lost transom drain plug and filled with JB WEld :) Any easy way of getting it out? Maybe heating?

    Plywood Galvanized Screws

    Do they existe? Its for placing Plywood on a homemade Jon Boat. I checked a few stores and Stainless Steel is to pricy. Would Galvanized twisted nails be ok? I`m in Salt Water.

    Home made scow front angle?

    Over the years I built 3 flat bottom wooded scows and going to try a third. When riding full WOT I noticed fronts of scows go up and down while riding. What would be best angle to get rid of this?

    Stock propeller for this motor?

    Bought a 1979 mercury 20 hp (7130833) that was on a sail boat with a 7 pitch propeller. Tried it on my 14foot small wooden boat and motor turns to much. Can anyone tell me stock propeller for this motor? Theres one here for sale but just a serial number...

    Does this motor have a thermostat?

    Just got this 1979 mercury 20hp. Takes about 20-30 seconds before water comes out of pee hole and waters almost hot enough that you can't leave your hand there, then cools alittle after a min. I took starter off and I can't seem to see thermostat cover.
