    Bravo Prop Cavatates

    I have a 26 Sea Ray 454 with a Bravo 1, 15x16 p prop tryed a 14x17 to. It gets to 3500 RPM's and cavatates, rpms go up and it drops down losses it bite in the water. What am I doing wrong, 14x19 did the same,14x17 w/cupped blades almost worked?

    89 Bravo 1 Cut out switch?

    I have a 89 Bravo 1 w/ a 454 and it doesn't have a cut out switch on it? Are these supposed to have a cut out swith for smother shifting?

    Merc. Thunderbolt IVdist. stator replacement?

    To replace the pick up (Stator) in a Mercruiser V-8 thunderbolt IV unit do you have to take the Distributor out? To get it past the shaft or will it comw out through the top with out taking out? Thank you.

    Bravo 454 water shutter?

    Where are the water shutters (Flappers) on my 1988 454 bravo Mercruiser (None in bellows) are they in the riasers or lower y pipe 1or2?<br />Thank you, Merdoc :cool:
