    How often do you guys change your water pumps?<br />ie: I've got an '81 Merc Black Max, only 500 hrs since rebuild, never changed the h20<br /> pump, only plugged it off once....<br />Q.Could not changing it often on a high output engine cook the top end of the motor, head gasket etc...?<br />...

    merc 225 to drill exhaust, or not?

    I ordered boyessen reeds, does anyone have an opinion about drilling my exhaust on an'81 225 merc with 1000 hrs since rebuild? Is drillin out going to be beneficial to justify the paid man hours to do this.. I pay my man 80 canadian per hour?
