    Have you tried pumping the bulb with the throttle wide open? Can you put a "T" in the line from the fuel pump to the filter and check fuel pressure? Also, you can get a Thexton #404 Spark tester on Ebay for around $10 that will give better results on the spark test. Let us know when you find...

    Rebuild the carbs. Check all passages/ jets with a magnifier. You seem to have replaced all the electrical parts.

    Plug wire removal

    90 HP OT481102 3cyl Bought plug wires because bottom one got snagged in cowl latch. They seem pretty tight coming out of CDM. Will I have to slice the boot with a razor knife?

    s/n 0T481102 I have the Mercury service manual but need help. Under syncronising it says to initial adjust carbs to: # 1 set at 1/4 turn out, # 2 and 3 set to 1 to 1-1/2 turns out ( page 2C-9). BUT under the carb section ( page 3B-6) it says to set to 1-1/4 out for all three. Motor runs OK...

    200hp powerhead on 150hp XR6

    2001 150 XR6. Seller says 200 hp replacement powerhead was put on when motor was rebuilt. What else would have to be changed to make it into a true 200hp motor? I'm not familiar with big Mercurys so what questions should I ask. Thanks
