Check out your after market oil seals. I just had a blow out. Sierra sent me 4 oil seals with plain STEEL tension springs. I put them in. Then I put the boat in salt water and two days later oil on the prop. Took it apart....springs rusted apart....went to Evinrude dealer and got the right ones...
