    After new thermostat and impeller was installed ( which can only sit properly on the flat side of cam drive) it was run for about 45 sec as soon as it didn’t pee it was shut down.dropped unit again to find impeller ruined as well as housing getting its cursed

    Dropped the lower unit again and found new impeller was chewed up and housing now has what looks like melted rubber all in it. I can’t understand what causing this new situation! Just bought this otherwise pristine engine from a guy I thought was honest. Shame on me for just checking compression...

    Won’t the blades on impeller fold in right direction once engine runs

    2004 Honda 8 hp 4 stoke. This barely used engine starts up and runs fine except no water comes out pee hole. Changed impeller ( which looked new) and thermostat which had some corrosion. Blew out every line and port possible. All clear but still no water expelled. Stumped! Any suggestions I...
