    forward gear

    took my lower unit back off to check waterpump on my 1973 merc forgot to put the motor in forward gear.i know how to put L/U in forward but don't know how to put handle in forward having a time trying to put L/U back on. Can anyone tell me how to put back in forward Thanks Mike

    anti-seize

    when u put a new prop on is it best to use anti-seize lubricant on both the prop shaft and on hub,or use marine grease on shaft and anti seize on the hub?? I sure don,t want the prop to seize again!!! Thanks for your help Mike

    Gasket

    ihave a 1973 7.5hp merc the vent screw is small likea 1/4" I can't find a gasket to fit anywhere! Rodbolt on a previous message seemed to know about this vent screw and said not to use an oring. What is best to make a gasket out of so it won't leak? Thanks so much for any help!!
