    Cross country trailering advice/tips

Verify the speed limits, in Ca it's "technically" only 55. Maybe different in the states you'll be traveling thru. Do you have a towing service such as boat us?

Topped off battery with Distilled water....Why not with battery acid???? Opinions???

Yup, I agree with all of the above. If you have a constant trickle charger on the battery it can boil off the water too.

Rubberized or Epoxy undercarriage roll on for salt water trailer?

My twenty something year old galvanized trailer is only used in saltwater. I do rinse it very good with freshwater after every use. I have been using this stuff for several years. If you get it on anything it ain't coming off, skin included. I do have to touch up every couple of years but I'm...

    Boat Battery Questions - Cranking

Outboard ran without water for about five minutes

Outboard ran without water for about five minutes

    Rotate Impeller on Occasion

Outboard ran without water for about five minutes

One thing to remember when running the motor in some kind of container, I use a 96 gal trash can, is to not let it run too long. After 10ish minutes or so the water starts to heat up from the exhaust but I also think it's the best way to flush the motor.

    Electric wiring question

I'm curious why you say " fuses take too long to blow - the damage will be done before the fuse "opens" the circuit." If the proper capacity fuse is installed why would there be damage done before the fuse blows.

    Fuel tank

I agree with the other guys. On my center console the tank is under the bench seat, very easy to access.
