    link & sync silly question

    When doing a link and sync, should the throttle handle indicator be at the start position? I followed the directions for my 25el72, but nowhere in the Seloc manual does it say where the throttle handle indicator should be.

    I rescued this motor from the scrap heap. Had scored cyl and slightly melted piston. Got good used block and pistons. Reassembled. Rebuilt carb, w/new float. Soaked pieces for 2 hrs and blew out all passages witrh compressed air. The problem is that it will start only with the throttle fully...

    I bought it with no lower unit. Picked up used (eBay)very reasonable. One melted piston and scored block. Picked up block and piston (eBay, again) Like new. Got it reassembled.
