Looks to be a tight motor.
It appears to be well maintained.
Any known issues or concerns I should be aware of?
The motor wasn't used last season so I am in the process of getting her ready for a trial run & the season.

The boat starts, warms up & will idle @ 600 rpm with the shifter 1/4 forward. When I place the shifter in neutral it will stall. The lower shift cable is new. All the filters were changed, fuel pump good tries adjusting idle screw Is this an adjustment to the cable or a carb problem?

Is this possible or if the ratio differance too much. Would it reqire a Prop change?

I have a 1984 2.5L alpha one drive which had fishline tear the prop seal.
I would like to replace the seals w/o removing the carrier if possible.
Has anyone used this method? Or will the carrier have to be removed?
Any tips advice would be great. I have the manual downloaded.
