    1982 Johnson 70<br />I'm just planning on getting a gearcase seal kit and a waterpump kit to redo all the seals. Does this seem like a good plan?

    How many volts to battery at idle??

    1982 Johnson 70, reading 30 volts from the engine going to the battery. When I throttle up, it peaks in the 70 volt range according to my voltmeter. Is this normal? Seems way too high.....<br /><br /><br />Appreciate any help or thoughts.
