    I picked up a quart of this gear oil for $5 and was wondering if it can be used in my Johnson 70. I can't seem to find anything that says I can't.

    Water Pump Kit for Johnson

    I am going to buy a new water pump kit for my 1986 Johnson 70. Does anyone have a particular brand they would recommend and where would be the best place to get it? I see that the Sierra is a very popular one to purchase online.

    88 Blue Fin steering

    Anybody have any idea what helm Blue Fin put in these boats? I need to replace the steering cable but from what I understand I need to know what helm I have before I order a cable. I see a lot of Teleflex. Are these good?

    Can't remove lower unit. HELP!!

    Johnson 1986 70hp I removed all 5 bolts but can't get the lower unit to separate from the motor. Any suggestions? Also, how do I disconnect the shift linkage?

    1988 Blue Fin Sportsman 17'

    Just picked this baby up for $1100. Hull and trailer in great shape. Johnson 70 runs but isn't pumping water so I guess it's time to learn how to put a new impeller kit in.
