I have a 1975 merc 50 horse. I'd like to install a tach. I have the plug in the old merccontrol, but I have an autometer auto tach. Would it be compatible from 2 to four stroke. and where would I wire. <br /> Thanks, <br /> Mike
I have the old style merccontrol on my boat and when I ease it into rev. It sounds like it's grinding. Is my lower unit going or what. Any help will be appreciated. I also have put fresh quicksilver gear oil in. It hasn't helped.
