So I’m in Australia, so don’t have the best access to parts etc for my boat.
My issue is: Mercruiser 3.0l 2000 model engine that has been maintained well has an intermittent fuel supply issue.
I can run it in water in the backyard fine, I have checked timing, replaced filters...
so… where I am in Australia, they just don’t use double lap flares… I have the 3/8” tube and the tube nuts… but only single lap flare tools… I can get a double lap flare tool for 10mm tube, but not sure if that will do enough of a job for the 3/8” tube… what do people think? With the fuel...

They are also asking for the 'crimp specs' to attach the fittings on the end of the hose, would you know what this would be?

Cheers Bondo… that’s what I’ve read, I just have to get the correct fittings crimped onto that line I’m guessing? Is there any reason why you would go the brake line over the A1 marine fuel line?? Just the chance of places having the brake line is better? Thanks for your help…
Further to last… I believe mine is the M018823 number, which puts it in that year model… so now with my parts issue…
