It would not work for an EFI. I found one on ebay but he wants $175.00 because it is rare but I will not pay that much. I'm just wondering if I can use a base with clips instead of that screw clamp. Any opinions?
I have a 1993 OMC 5.8 EFI Cobra. On the distributor, the clamp piece broke off the base so I can't clamp down the cap. I can't find the replacement base pn#3853610. Is there a base that will take the place of the original? Will an automotive base with the clips replace the base? I haven't worked...
