    1982 johnson outboard slams into neutral

    I owne a 1982 15hp johnson freshwater outboard. The model number is J15RCNC. when i am out on the lake and the motor is at full throttle or close it slams into neutral. I am wondering if there is a gear stripped or an adjustment thing? thanks for all your time and help

    i owne a 1982 15hp johnson it starts easy with the choke but when i unchoke it, it wants to stall and the more gas i gave it is like it has no power. thanks for your help

    hi i have a jahnson 1982 15hp and there is no water coming out of the pee hale. i checked the impeller it was good. then i conected the air compressor and blow threw the water tube, the air was coming out of the exaust manafold. then when i put it back together exaust is coming out of the pee...

    exaust exiting from wrong place?

    i have 1982 15 hp johnson outbored. there is exaust coming out of the pee hole, i thought that it is supposed to come out from the prop. am i right because i am worried that water needs come out of the pee hole to cool the engine. thanks for your help.

    mist and exaust coming out of pee hole

    i had just recently bought a 1982 johnson 15hp from a guy. he said it was his grandpas and hasent run in years. i started and was wondering why there is no water comming out of the pee hole. please help i am worried if i run it for to long the is going to fry.
