    What makes the new motors so quiet? It has to be more than better sound proofing in the cowl. Other than the obvious of bad crank or rod bearings why are the older motors much louder.     120 timing marks

    My 120 flywheel has 4 timing marks. I know that the one that stands alone is TDC but the other three, in a group are not marked. Static? Dynamic?or degrees? Thanks for any help. My book shows a wheel with degrees.
