    I have the 1973 Merc 200 I've been posting about lately. Went to my Merc dealer to get a manual, all out. Does anyone know which weight gear oil I should put in? Any recommendation on the brand? Is the Walmart Supertech worth buying? Thanks guys!

    Welch Plug for !973 Merc 200 Carb

    Is it mandatory to replace it? The reason I ask, is one did not come with the carb kit even though I thought it would and should. I'm soaking all parts in carb cleaner now. Welch plug is still in place. Any help would be great. At this time I don't have time to order one. Thanks, Marty
